10/26/17 lesson 7- Response on "Differences in manner"

Every culture has its own customs. Some customs we all have to know before entering a country or knowing someone from that culture, so we don't sound rude or get in trouble.

As, I was reading "13 cross-culture issues", I realized that my Brazilian Culture is very simple, comparing to the ones I read. We don't bother about hand gestures and custums like that.

Being polite to everyone is a must, but we don't usually greet or smile at the people that we don't know, but if someone does it, it feels good.

Unfortunately, as we all know, Brazil can get dangerous and there are a few things that can be fatal in our culture and that every person visiting the country have to know. For example, there a few favelas in Brazil, especially in Rio de Janeiro, that if you enter in the community, you will get shoot. So, driving on your own is not a good idea. Besides, robbery is very common and its highly recommended to be quiet and still.
